• Why I started watching it: In 2010, after learning that Joss Whedon was going to direct The Avengers, I wanted to see his previous directoral film work. One of which was Serenity, the sequel to Firefly. Although the movie was exceptional, I made the mistake of watching it before watching the series. It was only after viewing Serenity that I found out that it was a film sequel to the series.
